Educational Visits
Enriching experiences
Educational visits play a significant role in a Bablake Junior School pupils' life. These will vary from day trips to weeks away. Residential trips to educational activity centres take place for all pupils in Years 4, 5 & 6 and these are complimented by day visits to specifically enhance areas of the curriculum.
Nights away with friends
The residential visits give pupils a fantastic opportunity to enjoy what is for many of them their first time away from home in a totally safe and stimulating environment. Pupils benefit from these trips enormously and they form an important part in developing responsibility and growing up. Current residential trips include:
Calshot on the south coast; pupils learn to ski, canoe, sail and climb
Bushcraft; pupils learn to cope in the wilds - making shelters, fires and developing friendships
Condover Hall; outdoor activities including rafting, orienteering, climbing and a disco!
Day trips include:
Holdenby House
Chedworth Roman Villa
Medieval Coventry
The RSC in Stratford
Herbert Gallery
Coventry Cathedral
Safety Centre
British Museum
A local Church, Gurdwara, Mosque and Temple
