Nature Area

At Bablake Junior School we are very fortunate to have our own area of woodland. This area is known as The Spinney and is managed by enthusiastic members of staff and the pupils. The Spinney is a wildlife haven and birds and small mammals are often spotted scurrying around. The children love working in the Spinney and are given every opportunity to clear bushes, build further wildlife areas and generally enjoy being in the woods. The Spinney Rangers oversee pupil access to the Spinney and it is very much a verdant area of peace and tranquillity next to the school.
