Girls Triumph at Netball Tournament

Bablake Win U11 Netball Tournament

On Saturday 10th November the Bablake U11 netball girls went across to King Henry Prep School to compete in a netball tournament.  Against strong opposition which featured schools such as Bromsgrove, Fairfield, Edgbaston Prep, King Henry VIII Prep School and Arnold Lodge, the Bablake A team emerged victorious. 

This talented and hardworking team played sensational netball to win the games in their section.  They defeated King Henry VIII Prep School in the semi-final to qualify for the final against a formidable Edgbaston team.

During a nail biting match which showcased great determination and strength of character, the Bablake team - despite a one goal deficit at half time, won the final by 4 goals to 2.  Congratulations to all members of the squad.
